چکیده مقاله:

 

In recent years and especially after the introduction of modernism to Iran, most cities in Iran underwent great changes and old cities no longer met the dwellers` needs .Therefore, there appeared a great gap between the physic and function. This problem could be seen in the city centers more. The invasion of vehicles to the cities made the pedestrians` movement limited and reduced the pedestrians` presence. Fortunately , there are found some sites free from the penetration of vehicles. One of the factors seen in these sites is the type of pedestrians` movement influenced by configuration of pedestrians` stream. Two factors of integrity and connectivity are most outstanding ones which can be viewed in space syntax approach to analyze the configuration of shoemaking site .The findings of the research show that suitable structure of pedestrians` paths of ancient contexts bring about some fluidity and flow regarding the desired connectivity .As with integrity, the parallel mainstream with its branches made the continuity of pedestrians` movement.
