چکیده:

In general for fitting a distribution we use different methods to estimate parameters of the distribution, such as, method of maximum likelihood, method of moments etc. We apply test for goodness of fit on the data set to see whether the given model is a good fit or not. In this paper we suggest a way for estimating the parameters, which some times give a better fit with using X2 statistic for testing goodness of fit.
